Title: Auto-Close Calendar Invite Tickets from mike@evo.tech
Created by: Richie Salvador
Created on: June 5, 2025
Tool: Freshdesk → Automations → Automations → Ticket Creation

✅ Purpose

This automation is designed to automatically close support tickets that are created from recurring calendar invitations or cancellations sent by mike@evo.tech to the support inbox (support@evot.freshdesk.com).

These tickets typically have no support action required and clutter the Freshdesk ticket list. Automating this helps keep the queue clean and focused only on actionable issues.

Outcome:

Once this automation is active:

  • Freshdesk will automatically close these calendar-related tickets.

  • The support team does not need to manually touch or delete them.

  • This reduces ticket noise and improves queue visibility for real support requests.

Maintenance Tips:

  • If Mike changes the email address or subject lines change, this rule may need to be updated.

  • Periodically review closed tickets to ensure no valid issues are being mistakenly closed.
